Important: All posts/threads/shouts made are subject to these rules. By posting, you are acknowledging all of the following rules and regulations. No exceptions.
Breaking any of the following rules may end up in warnings, infractions points, or temporary/permanent banishment.

1. Questions and Help.
If you have a question about a specific section of the forum, please contact the moderator of that forum. If there is no moderator for that section, either ask a super moderator or create a thread in the Help Section. For more serious issues, or for questions about affiliating, etc, should be directed toward an administrator.

2. Posting
The LPP staff reserves the right to delete, edit, move, merge, or otherwise modify any post, thread, or shout at any time for any reason (you will be automatically notified via Private Message for most functions). If you have a question or disagree with a thread being deleted, please see Section 1 above.

2a. Respect Other Members
When posting in any thread, please treat others with respect. Name calling and use of derogatory terms is not allowed, and will result in infractions points or temporary banishment.

2b. Spamming/Free Posting
Free posting (also known as “spamming”) is defined as either posting off topic in a thread, posting off-topic, or continually posting in a thread with short replies such “cool” or “lol” or “yeah i agree”. While double-posts will be automatically merged, we cannot automatically delete spam. Please keep all free-posting to the Freepost Central section and the shoutbox. Repeated spamming may result in infraction posts or temporary banishment.

2c. Post in correct section/Use search feature
Before posting a thread, please be sure to check that you are posting in the correct section/subsection, and that there isn’t already a thread made about that topic. Please use the search feature to double check .

2d. Inappropriate Material
While the use of curse words such as (sh*t, f*ck, damn, etc) are acceptable, please do not use harsher explicitives (especially those referring to sexual orientation or race), as they can be found offensive by others (see 2a.). Also, inappropriate images and videos are not allowed (pornography,
etc).

3. Advertising
Advertising other web sites is not allowed without permission from an administrator. Currently, only members of the affiliate program are allowed to advertise. More information is coming soon on how to become an LPP Affiliate.

4. Linkin Park

4a. Personal lives
We ask that everyone respect the privacy of the band and its members, and not talk about their personal lives. Exceptions will be made for major events (birthdays, etc), or information that is posted by them (such as on twitter), but at the discretion of the staff.

4b. Media
Do not ask for or post Linkin Park retail albums, DVDs, or LPU/FMM material. Such requests will be deleted. Other media, such as live audio/video, non album tracks, music videos, etc, are acceptable. Please support the band and purchase their music. All of their albums are available in the LPP Store. Around times of new releases, such as “New Divide”, we will implement an instant no-warning ban policy to anyone posting such material on the forum.

4c. Fanfics/Teenie Boppers
Please keep all LP fantasies (whether of sexual nature or not) off the forums. We do not care about your extreme love for Mike or how hot you think Chester is. Please keep them to yourself.

4d. News
Because threads in the news section are automatically displayed onto the LPP homepage, only staff members are allowed to post in the news section. If you have some Linkin Park news, please contact a staff member for posting. We will only post news which can be confirmed with a creditable source.

5. Accounts

5a. Banning
If you happen to become banned, you may not attempt to re-register to the forums, or use another user’s account. Duplicate accounts will be banned/deleted, and if you share an account with a banned member, you risk being banned yourself. See 5b. for more on duplicate accounts. If you wish to appeal a ban, please email admin@lpprojekt.com. Be sure to include your username, and why you think you should be unbanned. If you are reinstated, your account will become “moderated” for up to two weeks (meaning all your posts must be approved by a moderator before it is visible by others). After that time, the staff will decide as to whether to “free” your account. All decisions made by the staff are final.

5b. Duplicate Accounts/Alias
Having two or more accounts is not allowed (for any reason), and if you are found to be using more then one account, the duplicate account(s) will be deleted, and you risk being banned.

6. Contests
We love to hold contests for our members with awesome prizes! All you need is to be a member of the forum, and you’re eligible! However, there are a couple rules that will apply to all contests:

-Breaking the stated rules of the contest will result cause you to be ineligible.
-If you become banned at any time during the contest, you become automatically ineligible, even if the ban is lifted before the contest ends or if you are
reinstated via an appeal.
-Winners will be contact at the end of the contest to arrange for the delivery of prizes.
