Huge explosions near where I live! O_O

Yea, it was around 3:30am when it happened. It was some place called Sunrise Propane.

It caused my windows to shake, and it scared the fuck outta my cat. At first I thought it was just wind and thunder. Later one the window shook again, but it seemed out of place. So I go to my window thinking... This better be something good... Nothing good ever happens arou... HOLY FUCK! O_O!!!

Now, you can't really see shit of it with my crappy pic, but it gives you an idea of how close I was:



Now later on there was this huge explosion. Best video I found shows the shockwave and it's epic!

From my view, the explosion's height was probably about the width of that yellow sign in my picture. I mean, it was huge!

Oh, BTW... This is really close to where Linkin Park played Edgefest back on July 12th. Just south of the park, actually.

There's a map of the area. The red dot is about where it happened. In between those two lines is where they shut down highway 401. Which is probably the busiest highway around here.

I'm guessing they shut down more of the west side because that's the way the smoke was moving. Or perhaps it's just because those cut off lines is just the two closest highways.

Just woke up. They're still trying to cool down one tanker.

1 25 year veteran firefighter died somehow. 18 injured, 1 missing.

They say the explosion was seen from as far as Aurora and Niagara on the Lake. Niagara is on the border to New York. You know, Niagara Falls. That's far.

Oh, and the news keeps showing this one vid of that mega explosion. You can hear the explosion echoing a ton afterwards. I'm trying to find the clip.
