~An idea to promote on the streets, without material!~Alright, here's something I had posted on the LPST, but why keep it there alone?
I had just thought of this yesterday. The idea is to help those of us who can't get material, and it costs too much to print out flyers. Make up a short survey. Just like the ones you see people have in malls. I suggest perhaps 1 or 2 questions: "Have you heard about Linkin Park's new album, Minutes To Midnight, due out May 15th?" "Have you heard of Linkin Park's new single, What I've Done?" You could keep track of the Yes and Nos, but the important part would be the fact that the people you talk to would be aware of the album. It would be up to them to look up more info on their own, if they are really interested. Even better is if you could organize an outting with other LP fans. Get more attention in a big group. Be sure to wear LP gear, maybe have WID playing, not too loud though. Enough for someone next to you to hear you over it. Have a sign with eyecatching info on it. Any thoughts? Hell, is there places that make this illegal in some way that I should know of?

Re: ~An idea to promote on the streets, without material!~the only problem i see is that it may annoy the people you are asking...its a good idea, however, you would need something to be taken more seriously, like some stickers, or even a linkin park t-shirt...something like that

Re: ~An idea to promote on the streets, without material!~Yea, I know. You'd have to approach people in a calm and polite manner. Maybe only talk to those who aren't busy looking, rofl. Another bonus would be, if you are in a group, and gather attention. You could speak to those who look curious as to what's going on.
Haha, I just had a thought. Organize the group like a flash mob. Do something really weird. Something like this: http://gprime.net/video.php/flashmob XD Well, maybe minus the one where they pick the guy up, rofl.
