Hey everyone! First of all, I'd like to apologize for being so inactive during the start of the week. I'll try to be even more active than usually for the second half of the week.

Secondly, this thread will be my second and last thread in total on the mixing process. That means, that whenever I write any new material, I post it here. This saves time of the mods (they don't have to close inactive threads of mine) and also some of my own time.

For those of you, who don't have any kind of clue on what I'm talking about when I say "whenever I write new material", here's a news flash for you. I'm a singer/songwriter. I've been the first one for like ages, and the second one for a while now. The first time I wrote a lyric on paper - one that makes some sense - was 3 years ago, and since then I've been growing and creating my own unique style of writing. I've spent hours wondering how to write just a couple of lines, but however, also made a complete lyrical performance under that time.

What comes to the other half of songwriting, I've written only one instrumental for now. And guess what, it's not so bad for a first try. Check "Strayed" out on www.myspace.com/wickedbreath and please ignore the bad recording quality/bad singing skills/untuned guitar. Right now I'm working on another instrumental for my song "Breath".

I've made songs with clear and vain messages, but also songs with metaphorical text concerning important issues. I know a lot of you guys can fall off your chair while reading these, and a lot of you may have the biggest laugh of your life. But hey, it doesn't matter to me, as long as you share it with me in this thread.

With that said, here we go. First I'll post some of my recent (and best) lyrics, just to give you a hint on how bad I am. And please, COMMENT ON!

When I look outside
on a gloomy night
something strives inside
leaving me behind
It’s something really cold
trying to take control
and it freezes me
to the bone

This is like a vision
that has brought to life
I just want to scream
until I see it’s fine
I can’t close my eyes
so I keep them open wide
and watch how all the lights
Fade in to the night

Can you feel this breath
it’s sorrow and pain
Feelings of frustration
bring me down again
Pieces of my memories
Cannot be replaced
This breath leaves a warning
of mischievous fear
BREATH!

I don’t know should I
start to laugh or cry
‘Cause while this breath comes shy
the dark attacks my mind
It’s like a flame inside
Starts to burn my eye
and while the soldiers hide
I run to the night

creeping me in the walls
parasite of my corpse

killing the truth inside
blowing the pain to life
pushing the dream aside

Thanks! I'm telling you, my inspiration comes either from the top of my head, my heart, or from life. In this case - "Breath" is pretty much just what popped into my mind at the point of schools starting and summer getting colder, and "Silence" is a love song from the top of my head.

One of the best verses I've heard in a while. The message in "Silence" really made me think a bit. You could try extending the verses, though, 'cause I see maybe a 2-minute song. But other than that, good job.

Was that meant for Bass or me? Anyways, don't wait for anything major while going there, there's only a crappy demo from last summer and a punk track I made with a game called Punk-O-Matic.

If I would be in a band, my instrument would probably be guitar. But ironically, I can't play guitar that well and drums seem easy to me - and imo bass is one of the greatest instruments ever. So yeah, one of those 3 for sure lol.

btw, Punk-O-Matic is that song on your MySpace, right? Or is it another demo?
