Re: 'Big Bang' Experiment to End Life?kinetic energy---> E = 0,5x m (mass) x vČ(velocity)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kinetic_energy (scroll down a bit) the mass of protons = 1,6 x 10^27 kg nearly c = 3 x 10^8 m/s result: E = 7,5 x 10^-11 Joule i don't know if they really use protons but the mass would be still too small if using other bigger things... AND IMPORTANT:the result is wrong. this is the normal result but after einstein theories we know that the mass changes with the velocity of a thing.....so i guess the mass will be much more higher when reaching the speed of light.....we're so close now that we mabye have an exponential growth for the mass(i don't have any specific numers).....this could be the risk....but there shouldn't be any problems!

Re: 'Big Bang' Experiment to End Life?^people are gifted with the amazing power of fucking up a lot of things. They always go into the darkest holes, where they dont belong, and eventually ask themselves why they fall.
I'm not saying this experiment will end life, and i'm not saying that it won't. Being careful is the right medicine. |
