What you prefer????

Heh,I'll ask you,what you prefer?Aggressive LP sound like (Don't stay or Given up)or slow love ballad song like (In pieces,Easier to run)...
And write what is your favorite song!?
I prefer slow love ballad, I don't know why, maybe cuz I'm unhappy in my soul or what but I love "Breaking The Habit" and "My December". Aggressive sound like "Faint" is more when I'm angry, but it's not so often......
I love when Chester sing in deep from him heart and soul....I cannot resist,when he sing:When my times come...." Here is my favorite "slow" song:
1.Let down
2.Breaking the habit
3.Leave out the rest
4.In Pieces
5.Pushing me away(piano)

I, and probably the majority of LP fans, prefer the original, aggressive Linkin Park sound

I actually like both sounds. Songs like Valentine's Day, My December, In Pieces, Shadow of the Day, and all are really good.

However, the harder rock sound is my favorite. Most of them have a ridiculously amazing bridge, like A Place for My Head, One Step Closer, Papercut, Given Up, Figure.09, Lying From You, and From the Inside. Those are really good songs too lol. They are my favorite :P

Top 3 slow:
1. In Pieces
2. My December
3. The Little Things Give You Away

Top 3 hard:
1. Papercut
2. A Place for My Head
3. Figure.09

Hmm I think I like both equally. It depends on the mood I am in. If I'm really depressed I like hearing My December [Reanimation version], dunno why, it just has a special feeling about it.
But I like the hard, aggressive style too. I guess it's because I like every way LP makes music that I keep hanging around these fanboards.

I think I prefer the heavier side over the softer one. Soft songs such Pushing Me Away and My December are really good, and I really enjoy them. But what comes to heavier songs like By Myself and Lying from You - just WOW, they knock you out the box! Hard and aggressive riffs force you to just jump around

and the lyrics usually make you think about things alot. But at the end, the bridge of Papercut - with Chester's soft and beautiful lyric, Mike's raw rap, the wicked bass line and guitar riff - describes my taste the most.

It's ok, you actually brought a great subject to talk about.

I just have to say, that Let Down is by Chester, NOT LP. Sorry, I'm a pettifogger...

i prefer the heavier style because that's the deepest and most emotional connection to lp.their early sound was so remarkable for me, i always have to sing with songs like 'with you, by myself, a place for my head or one step closer'( i can't sing and don' d it that often!!!). but of course i also like the softer side which puts more emphasis one melodic side. together a great performance-live show.
